KMC and Fort McKay Form Joint Venture

KMC Mining Corporation is pleased to announce that we have partnered with Fort McKay Group of Companies to form KMFM Joint Venture. This new relationship seeks to improve regional capabilities through expanded service offerings as a Tier 1 contractor in pursuit of mining and heavy civil opportunities within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. Also, this joint venture aims to support long-term economic and social benefits for Fort McKay First Nation and other Indigenous communities in the region.

In November, KMFM was formally awarded its first project, a reclamation contract with Syncrude Canada. KMC looks forward to a long and meaningful relationship as KMFM and to make this project, and others in the future, a success for all stakeholders.
