KMC Nominated for 2020 Energy Excellence Award

KMC Mining is pleased to announce that we have been nominated for the 2020 Energy Excellence Award for Project Excellence in the Oil Sands. This nomination is for our Emissions Reduction Program in place at our operations in the Athabasca Oil Sands.

Over the past two years, the program successfully reduced fuel consumption by over 19.7 million liters. This reduction is equivalent to over 46,250 metric tons of carbon dioxide or a reduction of over 184 million kilometers of driving of your average passenger vehicle.
